The BDS Toolkit is a "pop-up" program. This means
that once you've loaded the program by typing "BDS" at
the command line, you can use it at any time by simply
holding the <Alt> key and striking the <Tab> key. The
Toolkit window will "pop up" on your screen, even if
you're already running another program like 1-2-3. When
you're finished, strike the <Esc> key and the Toolkit
window will vanish, leaving your screen intact.

BDS Broadcast Engineering Toolkit 3/88
Version 1.01
Notes
-----
1. If you're a Sidekick user, you MUST load the BDS
Toolkit before loading Sidekick. Otherwise, the Toolkit
will refuse to install itself.
2. The Toolkit should be activated with <Alt><Tab> only
when your screen is in text mode. If you pop-up the
Toolkit while in graphics mode, your screen may become
garbled. In that case, use your usual keystrokes to
terminate the graphics program.
3. Once the Toolkit window is on the screen, you can
"peek" at the screen underlying the window by striking
<Alt><P>. The window will disappear, revealing your
original screen. Then, strike any letter key to restore
the Toolkit window and continue your work.
4. In the Toolkit window, default values are shown in
square brackets ("[..]"). Pressing <Return> only will
select the default if one is shown.
This program was downloaded from AV-SYNC Atlanta:
